Tempo Group

Tempo Group, Inc. is a non-profit community based counseling center that has been addressing the concerns of youth, adults, and families for over forty years. Tempo Group, Inc. has developed prevention, education, intervention and treatment programs in all areas related to substance abuse and family issues. Tempo Group, Inc. provides specialized adolescent treatment programs for teenagers who are experiencing difficulty managing their life due to substance use. The licensed professionals at Tempo Group, Inc. also provide on-site prevention services to schools in the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District. The social workers interact with students and faculty on a daily basis, developing drug prevention and leadership programs for students, holding discussion groups on topics of concern for adolescents, addressing identified at-risk students, and managing crisis situations.
